Digiant 2 in 1 Cell Phone Macro and Wide Angle Lens

I was recently sent the Digiant 2 in 1 Cell Phone Macro and Wide Angle Lens to review.

I take a lot of product and beauty items using my iphone and am always looking for something to help me take better pictures.  I have had a product very similar to this before but it was a lot smaller and fiddlier.

In the box was the clip with the macro and wide angle lens, protected by a lens cover, a separate lens cover for when you remove the wide angle lens, a cleaning cloth and a little leather pouch.

Whats in the box

The lenses themselves are quite wide and the aperture that clips onto the phone is wide so you aren't fiddling to get it central.  The clip is strong and secure - the lens doesn't suddenly slide off while you are taking a picture.  I like that it comes with a lens cap to protect the lens, as I once had something similar and it arrived scratched to pieces.  Both lenses on this product arrived in pristine condition.

Lens and cap

I have taken photos from exactly the same angle and position, one with the lens, one without.  You can see from the photos that the wide angle lens fits in much more than the regular lens, although it does have a slight 'fish bowl' effect.  Using the macro lens I was able to take an incredibly close up picture of a 5p piece.  Without the macro the picture taken from the same distance is just blurry.

I'm really looking forward to improving the quality of my review photos using this item, it will definitely be much used.

The lens clip can be bought on Amazon for £13.99 which is a really good price for this sort of device.

I was sent this item at a discount for review purposes but all the opinions are my own and unbiased.  This post does contain affiliate links.

Becoming Conflab Corner

I've had a few blogs in my time.  I had a mummy blog.  Then I had a nail polish blog.  Then I had another nail polish blog which is what this used to be.

But all those were very separate interests.  And my life isn't separate.  Yes, I'm a mummy and that has a huge affect on my life.  I'm also a special needs mummy.  And a single mummy! But that doesn't define who I am.  I also still love my nail polish.  I haven't painted my nails for ages but that doesn't mean it's not still one of my interests.  But as I opened up the beauty world I realised that there is so much more out there than just nail polish.  There are gorgeous eye shadow palettes to be had, and awesome highlighting powders!  And did someone say contour? I can take 10 pounds off my face instantly!!  I also started doing reviews.  But none of those things are exclusive of each other and I felt it was time to bring them all together.

So I have imported my previous blog from Lipgloss & Babywipes.  I loved that blog but I am no longer a mum to babies.  Though I still use babywipes a lot! I needed a blog that reflected me and who I am now.  Hence Conflab Corner was born.

This is my outlet, to talk about the great products I've received, awesome beauty products I had to have, my make up that I'm proud of, and sometimes, what it's like being a mum to two autistic children.

I hope you enjoy it.  I'm looking forward to doing more writing.

Sit down and enjoy the ride....

Primark £10 Challenge

I recently challenged myself to buy 10 items for £10 from Primark.  I tried really hard to make sure that everything was something I loved or would use.  I even managed to stretch my budget so that I could buy a gorgeous holo purse charm for £4!!

Please watch my video and see what else I bought!
